Eduphoria! System Checkup Recommendations
System Management
Do you have a Calendar for the current school year? This is very important so that the system will work properly in the new school year.
Check your district courses and code them via “Set Subject Information”, this can cause some issues when assigning local tests to students by course.
Verify your district roster was last updated.
The Impersonate and View Economic Disadvantaged data option should be active for district level users.
For security purposes, please review user roles using the Print Role report option.
It is also recommended to select the Reset User Profile option before loading the current year Roster files. This will require ALL users to reset their profile and security question.
Please let us know if you will be adding new campuses next year.
Aware
Verify your current school year state testing data is loaded. This should be uploaded to Aware. Your data is available from Texas Assessment. This data should be uploaded into Eduphoria so you can analyze your results.
The Quick Views drop down should be was very organized and contained our package of views. These are optional, but offer some additional data analysis benefits. We can add those upon request. Remove any of your custom Quick Views from the drop down list that you no longer use. Did you know that Region 10 offers custom view building and has a set of views that deeper data analysis?
If Student forms are not being utilized. Please request training if this is an option you would like to use.
All Local Tests should be archived at the end of the year.
If you have a lot of local test categories. It is recommended to only have a few so it is easier to locate your tests. You might consider:
Archiving and moving all of your old tests to this folder. This will greatly cleanup your Quick Views tree and make it easier to find tests in the future.
Don’t put year designators in the Category/test folder name, as those are only good for that year.
When you build a test, we advise that you put the school year designator in the test name.
You will need to update or rebuild Monitor Lists and Groups for the upcoming school year.
Other Applications
It is advised to archive all of your Appraise documents before the 16/17 school year
